My Story
Hey there! I'm Aleks.

I've been passionate about animals my whole life, but it wasn't until I got hands-on experience with dogs while volunteering in Belize and Thailand that I realized my path. I was able to work with dogs of so many different needs and temperaments; a variety of new born pups, quarantined/ill dogs, aggressive street dogs, happy loving family pets, and paralyzed dogs of all ages.

After coming back to B.C., I worked for a doggy daycare where I got more comfortable handling multiple dogs at once and continued gaining experience with understanding and working with dog behavior.
I am Walks 'N' Wags Pet First Aid Certified and take the health of all the animals in my care very seriously.

I continue to learn in my field from amazing trainers, dog walkers and researchers from all over the world in the hopes of being able to help dogs and their humans communicate.

The joy I see in dogs while on their pack walks is incredible. I love being of service to these awesome animals to bring peace of mind to the humans who care for them, and most of all I love learning and growing in my work.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you too!
